Fiscal/Employer Agent
Our F/EA service allows a state waiver program participant to use his or her person-centered care plan to create a budget and use the budget to acquire needed goods and services. Most of our clients employ caregivers in their home to support them in dealing with a disability or long-term care need.
We provide this service in states around the country.
Our F/EA program includes a number of services for our participants:
- Identify needed services from the person-centered plan
- Develop a budget for purchasing those services.
- Conduct a meeting to enroll the participant as an employer with the state and federal government, sign related agreements, hire employees, and set-up a semi-monthly payroll system.
- Receive timesheets and distribute paychecks to employees
- Withhold payroll taxes, file tax returns and make payments for worker’s compensation and unemployment.
- Report service data to a state waiver program and process medical claims.
- Issue monthly spending reports to our participants.
