Accomplishments

Our programs really do work! Look at some of the accomplishments we’ve compiled in the last year.

Participants in the Supported Employment program with GT Independence have found employment in a variety of locations—including our very own company! There is no “one-job-fits-all” for people, and we believe success comes in finding a job where you can grow and thrive.

On a recent survey conducted with the people whom we serve, over 98% responded that they were happy with their services. It is not just our clients we want to make happy—we want to make sure that the companies who hire our program participants are happy as well. Local businesses have noted

  • [Our employees] are very reliable, on time and give needed feedback –Commission on Aging
  • ... very satisfied with our employee and his work –Fibre Converters
  • We are satisfied with our employees; they are courteous and on time –Snappy Gas Station

There are currently 17 people working in community jobs that have gone through the GT Independence Supported Employment Program. There are another 31 people seeking employment, and we look forward to new participants and new opportunities every day!
